Johanna received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. During her time in New York, she developed a strong foundation on the treatment of sports-related orthopedic conditions and completed research on landing mechanics during plyometric training with the sports teams at Mercy. She continued her post-doctoral training in Southern Pines, North Carolina, working extensively with females experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction using a Postural Restoration (PRI) approach. She is experienced and certified in soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, Postural Restoration, and Herman and Wallace. In addition to treating in-person in Navarre, Florida, she creates collaborative online educational content for Mamastefit and other industry professionals in the Raleigh-Durham region. Johanna loves to help people get back to feeling like themselves again, especially the postpartum population. In her free time, she loves spending time with her Golden Retriever, Butter and being active outdoors.
